How does a Poopy work?

Smart sensors detect when your cat uses the litter box. As soon as your cat is done, the rotating drum filters out the clumps and collects them in an airtight Poopy . You’ll never have to scoop again. Learn how Poopy works.

Is a rotating litter box safe for my cat?

Yes, first of all because of its open design: the drum rotates on its own axis and the compartment remains open at all times, so your cat can go in and out whenever it wants. On top of that, the cleaning process stops immediately as soon as the sensors detect a cat. Read all about safety.

Can I smell the trash can in the house?

After each cleaning, the clumps are immediately disposed in a waste bag in the airtight waste compartment. The odor stays inside the litter box, not in your home. This keeps your home fresh.

Does Poopy work when I'm on vacation?

Yes. The Poopy continues to clean itself, and you can monitor it from anywhere using the app. If you'll be away for more than a week, ask your house sitter to empty the waste compartment.

Adjustment & Suitability

Will my cat get used to an automatic litter box?

Most cats make the switch within a few days; 93% of Poopy are never returned. With our transition guide, you can help your cat adjust in three phases, at its own pace, and you get a 50-day trial period. Go to the transition guide.

For which cats is Poopy ?

For cats weighing 1 kg or more, and up to 3 cats per litter box. For very young kittens, a regular litter box is the safer choice for the time being.

Is Poopy for kittens?

Starting at around 12 weeks (and at least 1 kg), your kitten can safely use a Poopy. We don’t recommend using it any earlier: kittens under 12 weeks may ingest clumping litter, which isn’t without risk. At first, turn off the automatic cleaning feature and follow the getting-started guide.

What litter should I use?

Poopy a precision machine, calibrated for our own Poopy Litter (Fusion or Mineral). If you use a different type of litter or one that is too coarse and the machine breaks as a result, your warranty will be void.

How much maintenance does a Poopy need?

Daily: nothing. Other than that, replace the waste bag every now and then, top off the litter every 1 to 2 weeks, and give it a thorough cleaning from time to time. Check out the maintenance timeline.

How much does it cost to use a Poopy?

Expect to spend a 10-20 a month on litter and bags, depending on the number of cats. The information page includes a cost calculator that will calculate the cost for your specific situation.

What payment methods do you accept?

iDEAL, Klarna, Bancontact, credit card, and PayPal. You can also pay in installments using our own installment plan. Everything you need to know about ordering & payment.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. You can pay for your purchase in 2 or 3 installments, or choose 6 or 12 installments, in which case you’ll own the Poopy in the end for €1. Read the terms and conditions.

Delivery

What are the shipping costs and delivery time?

Shipping costs €6.95 (the Netherlands and Belgium, and your order will be delivered within 1 to 2 business days. We offer free shipping on Essentials. Everything you need to know about delivery.

I placed a pre-order. When will my order arrive?

Warranty & Returns

How long can I try Poopy?

You have a 50-day trial period: you have up to 50 days after receiving it to decide whether to keep it. If you don't like it, simply request a return and send it back. Everything you need to know about returns.

How long is the warranty?

Every Poopy a statutory warranty plus a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. With Poopy Plus (a one-time fee of €75), you can extend the warranty to a total of 3 years. Everything you need to know about the warranty.

How do I report a defect?

Go to the warranty page: enter your order number and email address, and follow the steps. This often resolves the issue, and if it really is a defect, you'll be taken directly to the warranty form. Start your warranty claim.

Nova Pro

What can I do with the app?

You can check the status of the bin and waste compartment, get a notification when something is needed, and start a cleaning cycle remotely, no matter where you are. Not a fan of apps? The Nova Pro also functions perfectly well without an app.

How many cats is the Nova Pro for?

For up to 3 cats per Poopy, starting at 1 kg per cat.

What colors is the Nova Pro in?

Available in Polar White and Space Gray. Keep an eye on our special editions for new colors.

Does the Nova Pro have Nova Pro litter trap?

Yes. The litter your cat carries out falls into the built-in litter catcher, so it doesn't get scattered throughout your home. You empty the litter catcher during your regular cleaning routine.

Nano 3

When will the Nano 3 be available?

You can find the current shipping status and delivery time on the Nano 3 product page. If you've placed a pre-order, the expected delivery date is listed in your order confirmation email.

My Nano 3 loses some litter. Is that normal?

Yes. The litter that your cat carries out is collected by the built-in litter catcher; that's how it's supposed to work. Empty the litter catcher during your regular cleaning routine.

Nano 2

How often should I Nano 2 the Nano 2 's bag?

For 1 cat, every 4 to 6 days; for 2 cats, every 3 to 5 days; and for 3 cats, every 2 to 3 days. It depends on how much your cats use it.

How loud is the Nano 2?

Approximately 55 dB during the cleaning cycle, comparable to a quiet conversation. The cycle lasts 2 to 3 minutes.

What do the lights on the panel mean?

White light: standby, ready for use. Red light: there is a cat in the carrier or there is a malfunction (the cycle has been interrupted). Blue light: connected to Wi-Fi.

Which Wi-Fi networks is the Nano 2 compatible with?

With 2.4 GHz networks (not 5 GHz). The device also works entirely without Wi-Fi; the connection is only needed for the app and updates. Multiple phones can control the same device using a single Tuya account.

My Nano 2 litter. What should I do?

This usually indicates a worn-out inner floor; it's a wear part that you can replace separately (€14.99).Check the warranty page—you'll see right away if this applies to your vehicle.

What is the difference between Fusion litter and Mineral litter?

How much litter do I use per month?
