Kittens weighing about 1 kg and 3 months old can safely use Poopy. Kittens usually get used to it surprisingly quickly.

Poopy works Poopy for cats weighing up to 8 kg. Suitable for Maine Coons, Norwegian Forest Cats, and most other breeds. For cats weighing more than 8 kg, it may feel a bit tight. Senior cats often take longer to get used to it, but the open entrance makes it easy for cats with stiff joints to get in.

The Poopy exclusively with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and is not compatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Do you have a dual-band router? If so, select the 2.4 GHz network. Even without Wi-Fi, all basic functions—such as automatic cleaning and manual operation—will continue to work as usual. Wi-Fi is only required for app control and firmware updates. Mobile hotspots are not supported. Once the Poopy connected to your 2.4 GHz home network, you can control it from anywhere in the world via the app using your phone’s 4G or 5G connection.

Replace the waste bag once a week, or more often if you have multiple cats. Refill the litter as needed. Thanks to Poopy and the seamless design, you’ll almost never have to clean the litter box manually.

If you have just one cat, Poopy works fine for 5 to 7 days without supervision before the litter box gets full. If you have multiple cats or are going on a longer trip, ask a cat sitter to just replace the liner. It takes five minutes, and no scooping is required.

For one cat, expect to spend €12 to €18 per month: 1 to 2 bags Poopy+ waste bags. Electricity costs are negligible, about €1 to €2 per month. With multiple cats, the cost increases proportionally. It’s comparable to or cheaper than a traditional litter box with loose litter.
