Where do these terms apply?
These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements you make with Poopy through our website. They explain what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

How does an order come about?
Your order is final once we confirm it by email.
Images on our site are indicative; colors or details may differ.
What do you pay and how?
Prices include VAT.
You become the owner of the product once full payment has been received.
Paying with Klarna? Then their terms and conditions also apply.
When do we deliver?
We deliver to the address you provided.
If delivery fails, you may cancel free of charge and will receive a full refund.
What if you want to cancel your purchase?
You have 50 days to return your Poopy free of charge.
Hygiene products where the seal has been broken (waste bags, filters, litter) cannot be returned.
Litter boxes may be returned if clean and complete.
If items are dirty or incomplete, we may deduct an amount for cleaning or reduced value.
What if your product arrives damaged (DOA)?
Report this within 48 hours of receipt.
We will send you a replacement product free of charge or refund you, including return shipping costs.
What about warranty?
2 year legal warranty on motor, sensors, and electronics.
Consumables (waste bags, filters, seals) are excluded.
No warranty in case of incorrect litter, damage caused by pets, incorrect installation, or blocked updates.
How to use our products safely?
Use only Poopy recommended litter.
Place on a dry, stable surface.
Follow the maintenance advice in the manual.
Use the original Poopy power cable.
We are not liable for damage caused by use contrary to these instructions.
What if something happens beyond our control (force majeure)?
Sometimes things happen that we cannot control, such as strikes, natural disasters, supplier or carrier issues, government measures, or pandemics. In such cases, delivery may be delayed or agreements may not be fulfilled. We will inform you as soon as possible and work together on a solution.
When does the product truly become yours?
You become the owner of the product once we have received full payment. Until then, the product remains property of Poopy.
Can these terms change?
Yes, we may update these terms for future orders. The date at the top shows the most recent change. For important updates, we will notify you via our website or by email.
What about liability?
Our liability for damages is limited to the amount you paid for the product, as far as legally permitted.
We are not liable for indirect damages, such as consequential damages or lost profits.
And software or updates?
We may automatically update the software and firmware of our products to improve or secure functionality.
We are not liable for loss of stored data during such updates.
What if you resell or buy our products second hand?
Selling used Poopy products as “new” is not allowed.
We are not liable for damages or defects when products are used second hand outside Poopy’s control.
What if you order internationally?
Deliveries outside the Netherlands may involve extra costs such as import duties, VAT, or customs fees.
Any delays caused by customs are outside our responsibility.
What if someone abuses returns or orders?
If we suspect fraud, misuse of return rights, or excessive returns, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel future orders.
What about data and technical failures?
We do everything we can to keep our products and software working properly. We are not liable for indirect damages caused by data loss or technical failures, unless due to intent or gross negligence on our part.
What if you have a complaint?
Report your complaint within 2 months of discovery via support@poopy.co.
You will receive a substantive response within 14 days.
And in case of a dispute?
Dutch law applies to our agreements. The Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
